The Roblox description tells you to become the apex predator and climb the food chain in 60-player servers. That line is marketing until a HUD prints it. Late-game footage now prints YOU ARE THE APEX as a live banner (QItMWJ2aECY@00:01).
What the banner actually shows
The same clip keeps a crown over the current apex body and can attach 2x SHELLS to the banner (QItMWJ2aECY@00:01). That is the first on-screen link between the official x2 Shells gamepass name and an in-run currency. A PLAYERS list sits on the same HUD, so apex is a server status other people can see, not a private unlock.
The late-game body this clip used
The video title names a Basking Shark. About forty seconds in, the HUD is a level-200-class run with a length in the low-32-meter range (QItMWJ2aECY@00:40). Those numbers describe one recorded session. They are not a published max level or a size cap. Official copy still says there is no size limit.
Stats on the apex HUD

How to chase apex without a script
Stay on the free loop first: reef eats, Fish Tree, second fish, Level 19 trait. Then keep eating until you are the larger silhouette in open water. The apex clip is a long-run body, not a first-session target. Paid x2 Levels or Prehistoric Tree do not print an apex crown by themselves.
