DEVOUR Eat Fish Evolution Tree

What the official page confirms

The official Roblox description frames DEVOUR as a feed-and-grow ocean game: start small, hunt for food, then evolve into stronger predators. It explicitly tells players to unlock stronger predators, fight other players, and become the apex.

The Evolution Begins badge is the only official evolution milestone published so far. Its description is Unlock your second fish. That means the first evolution step is a second playable animal, not a hidden stat formula.

The Fish Tree in footage

Gameplay footage shows an early tutorial prompt: Open the fish tree (observed in gameplay footage, Bd9IHpMI5Q8@01:28). Later frames open a full-screen Evolution Tree panel that also prints playtime (Bd9IHpMI5Q8@02:40).

The same session keeps a Fish Tree tab in the side menu next to Mastery, Shop, and Packs (Bd9IHpMI5Q8@14:24). Treat the Fish Tree as the permanent evolution menu, not a one-time popup.

• Complete the bite tutorial so the Fish Tree prompt can appear.
• Open the tree as soon as the game asks — it is the evolution map.
• Look for a second-fish unlock to cash the Evolution Begins badge.
• Re-open the tree after deaths; the menu stays in the side bar.

Level 19 traits sit on top of evolution

At Level 19 the game opens a Choose a Trait panel. The readable options in footage are Healing 95%, Reflex / Quick, and Bite Speed 5% (Bd9IHpMI5Q8@02:32). Traits are a separate layer from swapping animals.

Do not assume every 19-level jump repeats the same three options. Only this one panel has been read so far.

Safe evolution order

Until a full tree is published, the conservative route is: eat enough to stop dying to the starter reef, unlock the second fish, then spend the Level 19 trait on something that keeps you alive in PvP. Healing is the safest first pick when you are still learning the map.

What remains unverified

The complete animal unlock order, any Robux shortcuts, and whether later levels offer different trait sets are still open. This page will add them only with a timestamped frame or an official list.
