Where the name comes from
Bloop is named in the official Roblox description dated August 13, 2026. It is the only roster entry that is not a real, identifiable species — the Bloop was an ultra-low-frequency underwater sound recorded in 1997 and never conclusively attributed to a creature.
A mythic name pointed at The Deep
Naming a cryptid alongside real animals is a deliberate signal. The official page invites players to explore the reef, open ocean, or THE DEEP if you dare, and a creature with no real-world form fits that framing.
