Why this list is short on purpose
The official description is a tag cloud, not a bestiary. It names jellyfish, turtle, whale, bloop, megalodon, orca, crab, squid, octopus, and mosasaurus, plus sharks and prehistoric sea creatures. That is enough to know the fantasy. It is not enough to publish health, bite damage, or unlock levels.
Animals confirmed on-screen
Footage adds two named fish the official tags omit: a tutorial starfish you are told to bite, and a Golden Mackerel catch announced in the live feed (Bd9IHpMI5Q8@00:00 and @16:32). Those two prove the game uses named fish beyond the marketing tags.
How to use the animal page
Open the Animals database for the tagged roster. Use it to learn names and tiers, not to theory-craft damage. When a later video shows a numbered card, that row will get numbers and a timestamp.
